Lothian Disability Badminton Club had a fabulous weekend at the Scottish 4 Nations! The team made the club proud, everyone played extremely well and represented LDBC superbly throughout - great performances all round. The club are delighted to announce that we have brought home 10 medals from Ravenscraig, with 6 of them being gold.
Thank you so much to everyone who made the weekend happen and who helped our players. This year was the biggest ever club entry with 19 players entering. The number of players the club engage continues to increase which highlights just how hard the club are working to consitently develop which is great to see.
Big congratulations to LDBCs medalists: Alan Oliver, Michael McCraw, Jenny Gray, Connell Greenhorn, Peter Sabine, Andrew Davies, Fiona Christie and Niall Jarvie.
Well done to Colin Leslie, Adam Linton Main, Jamie Munro, David Purdie, Ross Foley, Bobby Laing, Duncan Taylor, Gregor Hardie, Lewis McDonald, Daniel Strang and Sharon Munro who all played so well throughout the weekend. Special mention to our 5 players who competed in their first ever tournament. Hope you had fun and are looking forward to the next one.
